Ugh Chloe, the way that this book brought me to my knees and made me cry. I will always have a deep love for the marriage in crisis trope given the complexity (and also because i'm a middle child of divorced parents LMAO). Aiden and Freya's story was the perfect amount of angst and reconciliation.

This book hit close to home for a lot of reasons specifically Aidens character, for someone who grew up in a very similar situation as to Aiden, this book and the way Aiden's character was portrayed made me emotional in a personal way.

I loved the anxiety rep in this, like Aiden I struggle with severe anxiety as well, I loved how Freya was so understanding of his anxiety and brought him security, it's so rare to see this in romance books so I truly appreciate Chloe for doing such an amazing job at portraying this.

This is definitely my favorite in the series so far but I also have a feeling that Axel and Rooney's book will come out on top for me BUT Aiden and Freya have their own special place in my heart for sure.

Also the found family trope in this book was absolutely divine, Aiden is truly so lucky to have the Bergman family (Wishing my own big family like this someday in my future).
