Insurgent by Veronica Roth

COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!

I'd been counting down the days until this book came out. Being busy with school and all I didn't have time to re-read Divergent prior to reading Insurgent, but it didn't really matter. The author did a good job of tying both books together and quickly I was able to pick-up all the pieces.

Insurgent follows right where Divergent finished off. I will say, that I felt the author didn't finish all of her thoughts in the book. Some paragraphs or sentences just left me hanging with questions and then quickly moved on to another topic, person, or event. That is probably my only negative comment about the entire book though.

This book had its fair share of surprises including the biggest surprise which comes at the end of the book! I CANNOT WAIT until the last book comes out next year. I just can't wait to see how all this ends.

Tris and Four continue their relationship although it gets rather rocky in this book. I know she's only 16, but damn! She can really be immature and I hate that she continiously lies to him after making him promises. I'm glad he doesn't give up on her though and in the end their love is only stronger than it already was.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoyes dystopian novels, or just some good action! Great book, can't wait for book 3!
