I just finished listening to the audiobook. The characters where well written. The depiction of childhood trauma, as well as the long lasting effects were phenomenally well described and on point.

It made you fall in love, cry tears of joy and of pure sorrow. It made you gag out of disgust, burst out in rage. It made you grief.
