Loved the messages of liberation and the importance of women taking up space. But I personally cannot get behind anyone who would literally put themselves in mental or physical harm’s way to appease or gain the approval of anyone. I liked Roberta, but no I didn’t. I liked Stevie, but no I didn’t. There were some relatable moments though. And the selfish, romantic part of me really wanted Roberta and Andnan’s relationship to work out. So I enjoyed this book, but it wasn’t amazing.
