Dragons of Spring Dawning by Margaret Weis

3.0

The conclusion of the first trilogy of the Dragonlance Chronicles was fun. Rereading this for the first time since adolescence, I lost some of the sheen. In places, this book shines; in others it is held up by some weak mechanics. I should say all of this and reiterate that I am still in love with these characters. The authors work here was trailblazing for the genre and the brand. If you have never read this trilogy and you are at all interested in fantasy as it progressed from classic to modern, this is important work.
