I have a love/hate relationship with this one because I LOVED seeing Brian and Ella together and more from the first book, but it kind of had no purpose and created drama with Ella's family for legit no reason. I think it would've been better as an extended epilogue or novella that was just sweet with Brian & Ella, the photographer, and Brian's family.
I hated the family drama that happened here because the point of the first book was to work through it, and everyone thought they did. It was overdone and really for no reason here. Ella working through her view of herself would have been enough honestly. Also, moving in was way too fast, so I was glad Ella moved into her own apartment! It was definitely good for her anyway.
