This one is pretty interesting. There’s sort of like a miscommunication trope (which I usually hate) but instead of using it for intense angst at the 70% mark it’s spread out over the first 60% of the book but it’s kind of low angst in that way and creates like an enemies to lovers story where one character doesn’t know they’re enemies. I haven’t seen that before and it was fun. I typically hate miscommunication tropes with a vengeance but this was kinda cute tbh.

I feel like it required a little bit of suspension of disbelief in that one character doesn’t explain why she’s so hostile and the other one just sticks around despite all that hostility because she’s attracted to her, but once I accepted that I really quite enjoyed it. Definitely worth my time.
