I am a huge fan of Holly and any of the Finders Keepers books. The subject matter of this one hit strikingly close to home, given the current global political climate.

Sometimes King's books make me sad when I finish. Not simply due to the fact that it often means 12+ months before more original works, it because his manner of writing is just so clear and beautiful. Sometimes, more often in his later books, he just had a knack for holding up a mirror to the world and showing you the worst of it. He used to hide that behind clowns and rabid dogs and haunted hotels ... But he's dropped the mask and it's often just humans. I'm sad because he sees the world as it really is, and he often tells the truth about it. The sadness comes because we don't often listen beyond the entertainment value.
