Between the cover art, the description and Iori's high rating (I've come to respect Iori's reviews when I spot them) I was quite confident that I would enjoy this book but unfortunately this book just really wasn't for me.

What I will say is that it was well written with good punctuation, grammar, spelling and descriptive language and has the potential to put chills up your spine. But the first few chapters I found incredibly dull and are probably one of the driving forces behind me giving up on this book, Tabitha comes across as something of an empty slate without much depth.

I may well revisit this book at some time in the future and try to give it another go as it might just be that I am not in the right mood for this story.

If you enjoy dark science fiction, future fiction or apocalypse fiction you may well enjoy it but be warned that the first few chapters are slow to the point of plodding.
