My Drunk Kitchen Holidays!: How to Savor and Celebrate the Year: A Cookbook by Hannah Hart

4.0

First of all I think it kind of stinks that so many of these reviews (good or bad) are based off of only a short preview.

This book is more food for thought than it is cookbook, and it is a very close adaptation of Hannah’s My Drunk Kitchen show.

I loved the recipe concepts that encourage celebration and using food as an opportunity for bonding with loved ones and solo reflection. My favorite moment is probably the ravioli “recipe” that includes tips for having healthy interactions in relationships. The whole book is filled with funny anecdotes and heart(hart)felt things to consider. Truly, only Hannah could’ve written this book, and it’s worth a read if you follow MDK!
