The Witches of Eastwick by John Updike

Did not finish book.

So far I'm about a third of way through and I'm honestly hating it. Does it get better? Why is everyone so nasty? Updike seems utterly contempuous of all his characters. yuck.

... I gave up on it. I've got better things to do with my time.
