Love, Decoded by Jennifer Yen

I don’t know if not knowing this was an Emma retelling from the beginning would have helped me or not. I love Emma and I love Clueless but precisely because of that, I do not feel it was necessary to do another retelling.
This was cute and fun but I knew where the story was going at all times so I found it a bit boring, plot wise.
Did not love that COVID existed as an afterthought, it could have been left out and the book would not change at all.
Loved the representation and the matchmaking twist.
