The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

pleasantly surprised with how much I grew to like this story. there were so many parts where I was able to guess what would happen next but the ending truly shocked me. I'm not very into fantasy, and I probably won't read the next book, but I absolutely loved this one. I might read the next installment, I don't know.
side note though: I read some of the reviews other people had written and so many of them were like "the spice level is mild but its still worth reading" or "I wish the book was spicer" and I just don't understand why so many of you have to have the requirement of getting horny to enjoy literature or why porn is a literal necessity for you to pick up a book and read it, but to each their own.
the book stands strong without heavy romance or sex and I wish there was less demand for books to include porn/ soft porn, or that books weren't rated lower because there was a "lack of it." My opinion won't change anything I'm venting into the void, but it bothers me. It's getting weird. You guys are actually getting weird.
