A solid historical mystery set against the backdrop of Elizabethan assassination plots and Catholic-Protestant tensions. Bruno delivers again (though his ego is really too big for his britches. It’s a wonder he comes out alive in each adventure.). That’s a little tedious, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
