This was a beautiful book. It took me a little while to get into the story, but once I was in, I was hooked. The characters are beautiful and tragically human without being anything so simple as mundane or common. Hamnet took a celebrated historical figure and retold his story, all without ever saying his name. All told, a wonderful book with a perfectly executed ending.
