Shaking!! An actually well written dark Romantasy!! Dare I say this is a dark fantasy with romance. Because there is an actual plot with political intrigue to uncover injustice, nice romance slow burn, one spice scene at the end of the book... AS IT SHOULD BE!!

This is a dark Romantasy diamond in the rough! Good complex characters: Sarai and Kadra are people of action and morals, they are ruthless towards corrupt abusive people (yes they kill abusers and slavers LETS GO)

They are strong and powerful in their own right...they complement and respect each other... there's no super toxic mmc here! ... sigh Kadra is so hot... a breath of fresh air in the dark Romantasy genre!!

My only issue is with Sarai being 18.... TIRED OF YA AGES!
this is a serious dark book like we need an adult...
Once again I send this plea to Romantasy writers: Please give us readers at least a 20 year old FMC
