Frieda just hits. She delivers what I need when I need it and this was no different.
I liked the set up as it suits my preference for a thriller and I also liked how she lead us up the garden path when it came to what she showed and told us about each character. I loved Sam- such golden retriever energy and I’m sorry I ever doubted you. The twist was predictable but I didn’t mind as I wasn’t reading it for anything groundbreaking. It did feel quite similar to The Boyfriend, so if you liked that you might enjoy this.
