I was fortunate to get an advanced copy of Ki Stephen’s debut novel Spring Tide and we all know how much I love sports romances so I was SUPER excited!! I immediately became obesses with Luca and Harper.
Harper’s just a girl with a crush on a baseball player at her school, but when she’s assigned to the football team for her sports medicine class, she pretends to be dating Luca, the shy, mysterious football player, in order to switch to the baseball team. When Luca learns, he ropes Harper into performing PT on his injury he wants to keep hidden from his coaches. Watching them bond through PT is super cute- Harper’s attention tends to be fleeting with boys and Luca spends most of his time providing for his family yet the two of them find common ground in supporting each other.
If you’re looking for a cute fake-dating sports romance book, Ki Stephen’s debut novel is not one to miss. I can’t wait to watch her career bloom!
