Disappointed with this book. Sookie seems to be everybody’s whipping boy. She has nothing good happen to her (except escaping assassins). I didn’t like her breaking the bond with Eric and then find out he has to marry the Queen of Oklahoma. Sookie needs somebody who is going to stick by her no matter what. I’m tired of seeing her being dumped and beaten up by thugs. I did like the background on her grandma and fairy grandfather. I just found the story depressing, may have just been my perspective.
