An Echo of Things to Come by James Islington
3.0

I liked this book more than the first one of the trilogy. What still irks me though are the characters. Although now I can actually like them, I have this feeling you get in really predictable movies (though this book is nothing but predictable). The character always hesitate, when they should be doing something (either because of morales or something). When they are suppose to wait or do nothing they do something stupid. This annoyed me a little.

I liked the way one collects information over the time of reading this book (although I am still confused). I felt like being in a socratic dialogue where my thoughts and reasonings are deconstructed so that they can change. This I really enjoyed this time around.
