while it’s full of woolf’s favorite themes, and her signature style shines through, this is remarkably different from any of her other books i’ve read. it’s great to see her earliest work - the book becomes less and less conventional and more and more woolf-like as it progresses. not at all what i expected, exactly what i needed right now, unexpectedly tragic. good read!
