I don’t think I would have enjoyed this book as much if I used my eyeballs. With actual recordings and Liz narrating I really enjoyed this memoir. Liz manages to engage even during the more dry parts of this book.
While I will never agree with Liz on any other topic (and cringed when she was pro-Reagan and used the word communist in a derogatory way), I admire the work she put into the January 6th riots and insurrection. She understood how important a peaceful transfer of power truly is, even if it cost her the rest of her political career.
