Lovely book, I will always be a sucker for books involving rainy, windy islands, selkies, and the seelie.
It was nicely written, though I'm not the biggest fan of first person narrator and the changing perspectives. It was a nice, comfy book to read in between. Absolutely not horror though, rather contemporary fantasy with a bit of blood. If you go into this book expecting horror you'll be disappointed.
