Ordinary Wonder Tales: Essays by Emily Urquhart

5.0

I randomly picked this up at my library "new book" section. I love fables and the connection of stories regardless of geography. The author spins together theses stories and connections with her life and her research and the result is a joy. These essays could be read on their own but read in the entirety within the book paints a rich picture of women, death, fear, motherhood and life. I am so glad I picked this up. An easy read with a lot of meaning and insight.
