Decent installment, but the craziness of
Eel’s being the Villian after 2 previous “deaths”
was just too much this time. I also thought we would be coming to a resolution about Herbie’s mysterious parentage, but nope, turns out this trilogy has a fourth installment coming now.
Some positives;
Really heartwarming that Lady K is a curmudgeon that obviously lover her ‘dunderhead’
In absence of a strong Violet role, a Herbie’s was much braver this time around, though still tentative in parts.
Violet’s vulnerable admission that she didn’t want Herbie to leave her like her family and everyone else has. How she needs her friend.
Clermit is the most loyal animatronic a person could want. Not too shamed to admit I shed some salty tears over the crab this time.
Overall another enjoyable, if a bit repetitive, romp. Adored reading it with my girl.
