The story was interesting, though I feel like it needed more time to fully develop. Some things felt rushed and brushed over, and the way things were resolved at the end wasn't very satisfying.

I mean, he let her in prison for days without even sending a healer? When he knew she had been hurt? And no mention of punishing the guards who beat her, either. The guards didn't even give her food! I understand not being able to free her, but leaving her imprisoned in least than humane conditions was not good.
