I don't understand the reviews of this book. I wanted to DNF so many times but stuck it out based on the reviews. I wish I hadn't because IMO there was no catharsis here.
Vague Spoilers:
It's possible to explore society's perception of trauma and neurodivergence in a way that is kind and thoughtful. The majority of this story demonizes PTSD symptoms and neurodiverent characteristics to firmly place Ted as "weird" and therefore as the villain. Personally, I feel like this book was exploitative.
