If there's something lesbians are good at, it's definitely yearning.
I ADORED the concept of this story. The whole time-traveling + epistolary elements made it both dizzying and breathtaking, at times confusing, all the while making perfect sense. I don't know how to explain it exactly, but it just clicked. Worked.
Prose was immaculate as well. Very stylized, fitting the purpose of the book perfectly. Perhaps a little jarring here and there, but maybe that's because I listened to it mostly in audio, which means some terms were a bit elusive.
Loved the romance as well, though I have to agree with some people that the only reason this isn't a five stars is because it didn't move me as much as I thought a work with this premise would. It lacked a little bit of something. A spark? Maybe some more understanding of who Blue and Red were as individuals, not just what they became as they fell in love.
But overall, an amazing read. Also Blue and Red coded lovers for the win <3
