My whole life I’ve been told how funny and great Terry Pratchett is, so I decided to finally read one of his books.
I must say, I was very underwhelmed. I was told how funny Pratchett’s books are, and how satirical and clever they are. I didn’t find any of this story particularly humorous or satirical. I mean, there are parts of Game of Throne that have more comedy and satire!
For me, it was also very old-timey. It seemed like one of those old parodies I hate, where they just thrown in pun-names, and non-sensical words, for no real reason.
