3.5 stars. Like the first book, this is kinda tough for me to rate.
I am obsessed with the super creepy vibe that the writing style has. I had to read the book in one sitting and most of it had my back pressed against the couch because I always felt just a liiittle bit creeped out.
The happenings of the first book were a great set up for no. 2, but the plot was a bit too all over the place for me. Adding a new sub plot is super cool and it could have been an interesting addition, but everything felt way too rushed and obvious for my taste. Maybe this is Second-Book-Syndrome?
Also, what the heck is that ending??? I don't like it. Nope.
This is, again, not a bad book and I will definitely read the last one in the series. But I really hoped for more and can't help but feel a little confused and a little disappointed.
