I am disappointed because this was highly recommended by multiple sources I trust and I hated it :( the writing was good, which is why I rated it as high as I did, but I did not like a single character. The only reason I even kind of rooted for the main love interests to work out was because of how much more I disliked the villains than them. The magic was such a small part of the book and the characters, I wanted more of it.
