History that reads like the most intense, bloody drama... because that's what it was. Meticulously researched and told with the utmost of care, this was a beast of a book that was a pleasure to read. I walked away with many new stories as well as stories I'd never heard other angles of before. If you're interested in learning more about Jerusalem, out of curiosity or perhaps a drive to have more context to world events, I suggest you start here. You won't be disappointed.
