This was a good book and covered some interesting topics like cultural heritage, sexual orientation, self discovery and family. The relationship that developed between Cate and Toby was so sweet and I think it helped that she had that after the big move from San Diego to Utah. Also, reading how Cate and her step sister faced the criticism of their devote Mormon aunt and uncle, whom they had to live with was hard. Overall, this was a lovely sweet book that hit all the deep emotions.
