I picked this up at the library because the cover art was so intriguing. I didn’t expect to like it as much as a I did. It took me about 40 pages to finally get into it and then it read like melted butter.
The push and pull of the characters personal lives and what it means to be alive and thriving, it mystical and magical. It makes you think about he life you are in and the meaning your brought with it. The relationships were intense and yet soft and at first you may not like all of them, but then you grow to love them. A beautiful first novel from this author. I can’t wait to see what they produce next!
