Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

I really enjoyed the first half of the book. Very well written, kind of creepy and very psychologically intriguing. I wasn't quite sure what it was about and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it sucked me in. The second half kind of fell off a bit for me. It felt rushed a bit and frenzied. I didn't realize that the author was planning this as a series, so it left me wanting more. I'm definitely curious to read the next one whenever it comes out.
