5 stars, no question about it. it had everything i like in a thriller. dual narrators/timelines, short chapters, dark academic vibes, revenge. the twists were simple yet so perfectly shocking. bad ass female energy. and although i don’t condone murder it was hard to not understand why the main character did what she did. that’s so bad to say
