Clueless Puckboy by Saxon James, Eden Finley

5.0

This book is packed with humor and steamy moments. Quinn is every bit as awkward as I'd hoped. Vance, as his love interest, is the perfect match. He brings a level-headed perspective and an understanding of the pressures and stresses of professional sports without feeling them personally. He helps Quinn see his situation from a fresh, healthier angle, a perspective he might not get from another pro athlete dealing with the same issues.

Their journey to becoming a couple is great, filled with Quinn's shy awkwardness, flirtatious uncertainty, and their attempts to deny their attraction before finally succumbing to what they both desire. The slow burn and tension between them as they circle around their mutual attraction is one of the story's highlights and makes the payoff all the more satisfying.
