May the Lord in His Mercy Be Kind to Belfast by Tony Parker

5.0

A great book with first-hand accounts by a great variety of people living in or around Belfast in the 90s. It's incredibly interesting to see how many different ways there are to interpret the unrest there, but also the patterns in peoples' lives that crop up again and again. I'd recommend first reading a drier account of the Troubles, as it's easier to appreciate and understand these interviews with some basic (arguably) details straightened out.
