Hellboy, Vol. 5: Conqueror Worm by Mike Mignola

The stronger books in the Hellboy lines are the ones that focus on a singular story. And this is a solid one, building a bit off of "Almost Colossus" from The Chained Coffin, but quite a lot on both "Seeds Of Destruction" and "Wake The Devil". It's not a story that would stand on its own, and it would be a terrible place to start reading Hellboy, but as a part of the larger narrative, it's immensely satisfying, and helps set up the first run of the BPRD books.
