These books are so popular in our library, and I wanted to read another. I do like Lil’ Peter...he’s a very sweet little guy. It has the usual silliness like the other books. I don’t think I’ve read East of Eden, so I’m not sure which bits of that novel were satirized (though there is a section at the back that points out some parts from Steinbeck that were used).
