I really loved this. It slowed down in the middle with Troy's siege but picked back up at the end. Patroclus seemed a little one dimensional but I'm taking that as intentional on the authors part. It's told from Patroclus's point of view and he clearly didn't think very highly of himself. I think Achilles becoming obsessed with his fame after knowing he won't make it out of Troy. I also liked the point of how many people needlessly died because Achilles was putting off his own death.
