More self help than I had anticipated when starting this memoir. Overall I felt like there were great nuggets of truth and thought processes that I enjoyed. I appreciated her story of finding herself and learning to trust herself vs trusting/caring what others think is good, right or least disruptive way to do or approach things. This is a life lesson I hope everyone can learn and apply to their own life.
However, I also felt like her story was very unorganized. Constantly going back and forth between her at 12 years old, current day, life with Craig, life after Craig, life with Abby, thoughts about her 30s, thoughts on religion, thoughts of a new mother, bulimia, etc, etc,.. just very chaotic. 2.75 stars. ⭐️
