Quintisential Palahniuk. Honestly I picked this up because I had a vague inkling that I'd read this book already, but I could remember nothing about it, so maybe I hadn't read it? It's a good quick, bizarre read. Maybe that's why I forgot that I'd read it before - because I breezed through it, not because it was uninteresting; it's quite the opposite.
