Edit: it’s come to my attention that this author is in no way, shape, or form a DEBUT author! I have no idea where I got that information from, but my points still stand; the book was pretty average
I think I would’ve liked this book a lot more if it had lyrical/metaphorical writing (considering its about mortality, love, loneliness, adventure, etc). This book was not bad by any means; it’s a debut novel and a good one at that! It dragged a little at the end and the whole mom thing was unnecessary, especially since nothing comes of it. But, let’s focus on the positives!! The characters were good, the plot was good, the writing was good, my reading experience was good! It was an average book and sometimes that’s exactly what you need!
