🎧 This book was INSANE!! My mind? Blown! It was so angsty and it was like the FMC couldn’t catch a break! There are so many good twists in this book that I couldn’t put it down! Literally finished in a day. I’ve been in a book funk all of September and had a hard time finding a book to hold my attention, BUT THIS?!?! I’M ACTUALLY GAGGED! I was not expecting this book to be as good as it was. And sorry not sorry I love the "My wife" trope.
The audiobook is immaculate. Lucy Rivers was reading like rent was due! She put a lot of emotion into her performance and it’s so perfect for the FMC who is basically on some kind of fucked up emotional roller coaster. It’s also a duet style audiobook and Sebastian York does amazing as well. (I do feel like sometimes his voice doesn’t contain the proper emotions, but that didn’t take away from the book at all). If you like audiobooks I def recommend this one!
