I’ve been wanting to read this book for a couple of years now and I’m so glad I’ve finally been able to read it. This book got me quite emotional and very angry at the injustice in this but overall, it was an enjoyable read. I really felt for Starr and her hesitation to speak up for her best friend. Other characters I liked were Kenya and Seven and I just loveeeeeeee how these characters speak and the way their sentences flowed in my head XD.
Graphic: Police brutality and Racism
Moderate: Domestic abuse, Injury/Injury detail, and Murder
