monkeydancer 's review for:
Incarceron
by Catherine Fisher
Wow. This book had so many unique, fun ideas in it. There was constantly action - the book takes place in about two days. The characters are urgent and believable (even the witchy, bitchy queen).
My only reservations: There was so much action that for a time, it got a little boring. There are benefits to having down-time in a novel, and this author didn't have enough of those moments in the beginning. And the last two pages didn't seem to close it up very well. I'm hoping that means there's a sequel?
Overall, 4.5 stars.
