Four Past Midnight by Stephen King
5.0

He looked at the strained expression of incredulity on his sons face and his own strained look broke. He laughed and clapped his son on the shoulder. "It's only the world, Kev," he said. "It kills us all in the end, anyhow." -- The Sun Dog

Absolutely no surprise but another great collection of stories from King! Total of four stories, of course; The Langoliers was an interesting and unique story of time travel ... I'm already terrified of flying and now I have a whole new reason lol. Secret Window, Secret Garden was the creepiest story in my opinion. Loved the way Mort so seamlessly slipped into insanity, and that ending. . .EERIE!! The Library Policeman had one of my favorite characters, Dirty Dave Duncan, what a beautifully flawed but good hearted man. This was a tale that really had you clamoring for the big baddie to get what's coming to them. Lastly the Sun Dog, which is set in Castle Rock, a town all of us who love King are well acquainted with. This is a great monster driven story, with a special father son relationship intertwined!
