I was quite disappointed by this one. It lacked consistency and a lot of the ideas it was trying to get across were just slightly too complicated to feel natural. It therefore ended up a bit confusing, with too many minor characters, a fantasy world that wasn’t explained enough and shaky motivations. Plus, the reader never really got a chance to care about the characters.
