Quicksilver - Tochter des Silbers. Gefangener der Schatten by Callie Hart
3.0
3.75 ⭐️ rounded down because this was so chaotic and convoluted at times it felt almost like a fanfic.
Also, the romance progresses like a thriller. As in, he's horrible in almost every way, and then he's obsessed and in love? Fisher -by the way, I hope we get to know his real name at some point because what the f*** kind of name is Kingfisher- is really just the worst for the first 45% of the book. So about 300 pages of this dude just being mean to the FMC, Saeris, for seemingly no reason.
Parts of this book pissed me off, others bored me so much I literally picked up and finished other books before getting back into this one, and still by the last 25% of it, I felt like I couldn't put it down. It takes a long time for this one to get good, so I can't in good conscience give this more than 3 stars.
I will be reading the next one when it comes out since I don't like cliffhangers and even though this one wasn't terrible, it left a lot of things unanswered and important things about the story up the air.
